The type of personal information I collect
I currently collect and process the following information for specific projects:
- Personal information (including full name, full residential address)
- Contact details (such as email address)
- Location data (including postcode)
- Characteristics (such as age, ethnicity, gender, disabilities)
Please note that the above information is only collected if it is relevant to the purpose of the survey or evaluation taking place for a project. Any personal data collected as part of a survey or an evaluation process will not be used to identify responses and will be stored appropriately. Information is requested on a voluntary basis and further participation in a project is not dependant on the provision of any information.
Information requested which falls under the Special category will be anonymised. The provision of such information by you is entirely voluntary. This information is collected to understand the existence or absence of equality of opportunity or treatment between groups of people specified in relation to that category with a view to enabling such equality to be promoted or maintained.
I may also collect, use and share Aggregated Data such as statistical or demographic data for any purpose. Aggregated Data may be derived from your personal data but is not considered personal data in law as this data does not directly or indirectly reveal your identity.
How I get the personal information and why I have it
The personal information I process is provided to me directly by you for one of the following reasons:
- To enable me to communicate with you about a project
- To help me report to funders about the range of people taking part in a project as part of a wider evaluation process
I use the information that you have given me in order to evaluate the impact projects have on individuals and communities.
I may share this information with project funders, and the organisations running the project which you are taking part in and I am evaluating.
Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases I rely on for processing this information are:

How I store your personal information

I keep your personal information and contact information for the duration of a project. I will then dispose of your information by securely removing any electronic files storing this, using data erasure software.
Paper records will be securely shredded.
Any data held on characteristics will be separated from any identifying information immediately on receipt.
