About Me
I trained as an archaeologist and prehistorian working in the field and finds laboratory until 1996 when I moved into heritage education. I worked for Wessex Archaeology, one of the largest archaeological companies in the UK, delivering education services to schools, organising events, working with volunteers and running outreach projects. I joined the English Heritage Education Team in 2003 where I enjoyed 11 years of inspiring learners of all ages leading a great team doing the same across 400 historic properties.
Since 2014 I have been working as a freelance specialist working across the cultural and heritage sectors. I support organisations developing their learning offer, creating audience development plans, training volunteer teams and evaluating programmes and projects.
I have an enhanced DBS certificate and am registered with the Disclosure and Barring update service.
